Lindsay Rentschler, M.A., BCBA, LBA
Lindsay founded Behavior & Beyond in Portland, OR in 2013. After receiving her B.A. from Colgate University, Lindsay attended the University of San Francisco and completed her Masters in Teaching. She taught elementary school prior to beginning her work as an applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapist at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders in New York.
As an ABA provider, Lindsay discovered her passion. While working for ABA Learning Solutions in Portland, she finished a post-graduate certification program in ABA from Hunter College and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) . She is certified to teach multiple subject kindergarten – eighth grade education in Oregon and California. She has taught both special needs and general education populations across a wide range of ages in one-to-one, group, and classroom settings.
The current focus of her practice is ABA, advanced social communication, and parent education. Lindsay is committed to the study of autism, values continuing education, and incorporates creativity into her work. Lindsay is inspired each day by the children.
When Lindsay is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She loves to hike, swim, read, and cook.
McKenzie Davis, RBT, BAI
McKenzie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Development from Washington State University. She has been working as a Behavior Analysis Interventionist since 2015. McKenzie’s favorite part about working with kids is their unique personalities, silly imaginations, desire to learn and their lovely families! In her spare time she enjoys snowboarding, camping, hanging at the river or ocean, being in the company of friends and family, and snuggling up with her cat.
Cassie Bateman, BAI
Cassie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Children’s Studies as well as a minor in Psychology from Eastern Washington University. She has been working closely with children for 13 years and has been practicing ABA since 2008. Cassie is passionate about supporting families in their home environment, modifying difficult behaviors, and helping each individual child excel. She has a love for play and a natural sense of humor that helps make the therapy environment fun. Apart from ABA, Cassie enjoys physical fitness and spending time outside with her family and dog.
